Anton traveled with his good friend Birger Sandzen to find picturesque places to paint. He also took a four month trip in the 1920's, floating down the Mississippi on a homemade houseboat and painting the scenery along the way. This cactus painting looks like he took a trip to the Southwest. It measures 10 x 12 and appears to be painted on masonite. It is not perfect, as it was in storage for many years but it is a fun piece.
